AI really needs to step up when it comes to analyzing web pages for coding suggestions. More often than not, I have to provide them with the HTML of a section of the page for them to be able to read it.
Call me spoiled, but I believe AI resources should be able to go to a linked page on a website, analyze the HTML, unless it's intentionally encrypted by the host, the CSS resources, the JavaScript resources, and come up with a valid answer to the question without having to spell it out for them.
Half the time I have to go into my browser's Dev Tools, inspect the part of the page in question, provide them with the HTML and then I'll, at times, get an adequate reply to my question.
How hard is it for AI to understand the concept of Dev Tools, analyze the page, and do it themselves?
Sigh! We're not "there" yet!
