While I tend to work with various AI assistants when applying custom coding to stuff on my site & other projects, I never really thought of Alexa as that type of assistant outside of turning the lights off.

Amazon recently came out with news that Alexa+ is now available in browser, much like existing AI Assistants such as Gemini 3, Claude, ChatGTP, etc.
The cool thing about this is that "she" collects information from conversations that we can revert back to later.
I get mixed results depending upon which AI assistant I use. Sometimes they are spot on, then the same one isn't so much spot on in other instances, but it's nice to know that Alexa acts as at least a free fall back with no limits when your "free points" expire for the day with a particular assistant.
HOWEVER, during the process of writing this, I went to show a screenshot of a coding example and got the following response (notice that memory thing). I am guessing the reason this didn't work is because she is reading the actual contents of the HTML in this post and is taking it personally???

Has Amazon made a change prior to the last time I referred to Alexa for coding (this morning) and this evening? "Amazon Q" is limited just like the rest!
Suspecting that Alexa was reading the contents of the HTML, this post, and that she took it personally that I was writing about her abilities, I jumped to another page that wasn't talking about her and asked the same question (below). Very weirdly, she was all "on it", back to her usual snarky self.

Mental Note: For future reference, replace out Alexa's name in any projects when asking the assistant for assistance or ya might get some 'tude.
